Stained Glass Abby Christmas Gift

This is Jennie's 2016 Christmas gift.

Earlier this year, Leslie found a quilt pattern for a dachshund quilt.
She suggested that it could also be made into a stained glass panel.
Leslie made the quilt and I took the pattern and made the stained glass.
I even took fabric to the glass store so that I could match up characteristic colors from the fabric in the glass.

This is the glass panel.

This is Jennie and Abby with the quilt. (Abby seems pretty excited about being featured in a quilt.)

Here is Jennie with the glass.

Jennie didn't have a window that was suitable to put the glass in, so I made a light box to mount it in.
The light box has LED light strips that provide the backlighting.
